TRANSFER STATION: The Transfer Station will be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the first (1st) and third (3rd) Saturdays of each month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Patrons are asked to remain in their vehicles. Transfer Station Employees will remove the trash and/or recyclables from vehicles in order to maintain social distancing and help prevent spreading of any virus.We ask that you please be patient with our employees during this time.Bull Shoals

  • Milk Jugs
  • Bulk Steel
  • Bulk Aluminum

All bottles and cans must be rinsed out.

Household Hazardous Waste
Paint Cans are collected at the Marion County Transfer Station during regular business hours. Paint cans will be inspected to ensure that the paint in the can is completely dry. If the can contains wet paint, kitty litter or sawdust can be used to dry out the can.

Marion County Residents can dispose of bags of trash up to 33 gallons for $1.50 per bag. Trash bags over 33 gallon are $2.50 per bag.

Waste Tires
Waste Tires in Marion County are collected at the Marion County Transfer Station during regular business hours. The following types of tires are accepted:

  • Light truck tires
  • Farm tire
  • Extra large tires

Extra Large tires include:

  • Skid Steer
  • Grader
  • Super Single
  • Farm tires
  • Small and large OTR
  • ATV tires
  • Bus Tires

Tires that do not have a fee attached at the point of sale are considered a non-fee paid tire. There is no charge for 4 non-fee paid tires per person, per month (residents only). After that limit, charges for non-fee paid tires are $3.50 per passenger tire, $10.00 per semi-truck tire and $5.00 per off-road / grader / skid steer tire.

  • No Liquid Paint or Oil, Pesticides, Hazardous Materials
